Tick tock, tick tock…

We’ve told you how amazing it, Sarah’s told you how much fun it is, but if you still need convincing to enter this year’s Parade…

Parade 2014Newport Pagnell carnival is one of the highlights of our year – it’s great to see everyone in the community coming together and celebrating the event together and from the many smiling faces it’s clear to see how much everyone enjoys it. ” MKFM

360Play has been involved with Newport Pagnell carnival for many years and is always a successful, fun and worthwhile event for us. Not only do we get to support the community and good causes in the area, but we also get to meet many families and introduce them to 360 Play, the children especially love seeing Twizzle and Twirl out of the centre and in their local community.” 360 Play

The Newport Muster team has been walking in the Carnival Parade for a few years.  We feel that as a walking event we should walk the whole length of the route!  It is a really enjoyable occasion being with all the other walkers and the floats and seeing the streets lined with people waving and cheering.  We do sometimes get sprayed with water, but that is all part of the fun.  We have decided on our theme to fit with the ’50 Bedtime Stories’, but you will have to wait until 4th July to see it.  Let’s just say that Teddy is being measured up for his costume!  We are looking forward to this year’s parade.” Mary Rose Carman- Newport Muster

Sew inspiring loved taking part in the carnival last year, not only was it great fun but it was also the perfect opportunity to promote the shop to thousands of Newport Pagnell residents at the same time. We can’t wait for this years and are already planning our float” Kate Guiney – Sew Inspiring

This will be my fourth time as a Paradeshimmering, sparkling Zumba-rina! As always I am looking forward to being part of the buzz and happy atmosphere that the Newport Pagnell Carnival creates. Not only is it a lot of fun, but we raise lots important funds for charity too!” Debbie Farey – Zumba Fitness MK

We have entered a float in the parade for many years. Different children and parents each year. It is hard work to organise but great fun. Our children are pre-schoolers 3 and 4 year olds and they just love to be on the lorry and wave to all the spectators on the route. Wouldn’t miss it!” Pat Hurst – River Meadow Preschool & Out of School Clubs

Leading the Parade is definitely the highlight of my year and that says a lot because I’m a bit of a social butterfly (if butterflies had snouts, were green and liked swimming!). It’s great to look ahead and see the streets lined with smiling faces and to look behind and see a Parade full of happy, hard working, community-spirited people. Even if they are a little sweaty!” Carni Croc – Newport Pagnell Carnival
