Well, that was a corker of a weekend! Carnival 2017 went down a treat on 08 and 09 July with scorching temperatures, record numbers and a very special birthday to celebrate.
The ‘travel and transport’ themed parade saw over 40 entries take to the streets to raise money and awareness for their chosen charities and causes.
The fun continued on Riverside Meadow with the world-famous Devil’s Horsemen astounding the crowds with their high-speed trick riding and nerve-wracking stunts. Dance shows, wrestling, archery, stalls, funfair, inflatables, food vans, beer tent and live music all worked together to make the day a day to remember.
But the fun didn’t stop there! Sunday saw the 30th anniversary of the Classic and Vintage Car Parade and Show, with record numbers driving along the parade route, leading the public back to Riverside Meadow for, you guessed it, even more fun.
The Hula Dog Show, car boot sale, stalls, food vans, beer tent and funfair all took place on Sunday, which finished with a showstopper of a duck race (big and baby ducks!)
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and helped to make Newport Pagnell’s biggest event of the year even bigger.
