What’s Buzzin’ Cuzzin’ – Our 2018 Parade Theme!

Check it out – With a theme like this, 2018 is set to be a real blast!

We channelled our good vibes at the AGM and came up with a groovy theme for next year’s Carnival: ‘Through the Decades‘ – far out!

Whether you want to mop-top back to the 60s,  disco down to the 70s, shell-suit up for the 80s, Spice Up Your Life in the 90s or come up with something completely out of the box; we’ll be celebrating all of the decades been (and maybe to come) in next year’s carnival parade.

Like, ok, so how do you get involved because you totally want to be there, right?!

Whoomp – there it is; we’ll be releasing our 2018 parade entry forms at the end of the month. Boo-ya!So in the meantime chillax! We’ll brb with more information shortly – for now just save the date, lol!

Monday night’s AGM (lovingly sponsored by biscuits from the old Somerfield Coop) saw the old Carnival committee step down (*sob*) and the new Carnival committee get elected (yay):

What’s the Best Way to Beat Carnival Blues? Book Next Year’s Of Course!

Suffering from a little Carnival come down (or still dazed from the Carnival weekend) the committee ended their wash-up meeting last night with a bang, by booking the dates for the 2018 Newport Pagnell Carnival. 

Taking place on Saturday 07 and Sunday 08 July 2018 Newport Pagnell Carnival will return for another fun-filled weekend.

So put it in your calendars, phones, diaries, handkerchiefs, PDAs, Filofaxes…all we care about is that you’re there!

We’ll be deciding the 2018 theme at the AGM on 25 September 2017 (more details to follow) so please get your thinking caps on and start suggesting!
